Ex-Teacher Indicted for Solicitation of Minor

GREGG COUNTY — A former Longview middle school employee has been indicted by a Gregg County grand jury on a charge of online solicitation of a minor. According to KETK and the Longview News-Journal, Joey Huddleston, 35, was arrested April 27 on East Loop 281 after police say he made arrangements to meet with a 15-year-old boy on Airline Road. Police said Huddleston was aware of the boy’s age before the meeting. Huddleston had been communicating with the boy through online messages and traveled to meet the boy “with the intent of engaging in sexual conduct,” according to police. He is a former Foster Middle School teacher.
