Train Derails in Tyler

TYLER — Portions of two Tyler roads have been closed because of a train derailment. No injuries were reported in the accident around 8:45 last night in the area of Robertson Road, Shaw Street and Bellwood Road. Currently the 2600 block of West Shaw Street and the 2300 block of Robertson Road are closed due to the train resting on the tracks. Officials said last night the repairs on the train were expected to take approximately 12 hours to clear up. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes from that area.
