Athens Teacher Under Investigation

ATHENS — An Athens teacher has been placed on administrative leave while the police department investigates a report of inappropriate texting between the high school teacher and a student. The investigation is just beginning and the teacher’s name has not been released. The school district is also conducting an investigation into the alleged texting.
