Meth Seized, One Arrested in Rusk Co. Raid

HENDERSON — The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office has taken one person into custody and seized multiple pounds of meth in a recent raid. KETK reports that on Tuesday morning, deputies seized 4.5 pounds of meth while executing search warrants at several undisclosed county locations. Toney Gene Peterson, 18, of Rockwall, was arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Authorities are still searching for Joshua Lyle Harned, an alleged drug dealer. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by ATF, the Henderson Police Department, Rusk County Constable Precinct 3 and the Center Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.
