AUSTIN — A Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission investigation into what took place before a fatal accident in the Flint area is expected to be released next week. According to KETK, TABC Public Information Officer Chris Porter says the investigation is complete and has been forwarded to supervisors for review. They will then determine what action, if any, will be taken.
On March 4, Carl Crabtree was involved in a crash on Old Jacksonville Highway in which two people were killed. The suspect was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter in the deaths of Dana Regester, 41, of Flint, and Pasha Zapolsky, 18, of Bullard. A DPS report revealed Crabtree’s blood alcohol content level was twice the legal limit when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit an SUV head-on. Crabtree is currently in the Smith County Jail on bonds totaling $1.5 million.
