New TISD Career and Technology Center Opens

TYLER — Tyler ISD officially opened its new 147,000 square foot state-of-the-art Career and Technology Center Monday morning. The ribbon cutting ceremony was at 10:00am at the center located at 3013 Earl Campbell Parkway. The school district says the center is a product of the BOND2013 package approved by voters in May 2013. The facility will connect students with real-world experiences from a variety of career fields and interests. The goal of the CTC is to prepare students for college, technical school, or the workforce.
