One in Custody Following Smith County Shooting

TYLER — A Smith County argument, in which shots were fired, has resulted in the arrest of on person. It happened around 6:00 last night at a residence on Chapman Road, which is off U.S. Highway 271. A man in his 20s is said to have started shooting during a family argument. The sheriff’s office tells KETK that two adults and a 10 year old boy were in the house at the time of the shooting. They were not injured. The suspect was jailed on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of child endangerment.
