New K9 Officer for Longview Police

LONGVIEW – A new K9 has officially joined the Longview Police Department. Named Indio, the dog was purchased with money donated by Ray Shelby of Longview. He gave the money late last year and it was used to buy the dog in February. Officer David Ceal and Indio trained for several weeks in San Antonio. Last week Indio started riding with the officer on his evening patrols.
