Mother Indicted for Murder of Two Daughters in Quitman

QUITMAN — A woman accused of killing her two children last July in Quitman has been indicted on two counts of capital murder. According to KETK, court records show Daphne Elizabeth McDaniels was indicted by a Wood County Grand Jury on February 11. Her bond was set at $2 million. She is scheduled to be arraigned on March 3. McDaniels was arrested on November 17, 2014. By that time, she had moved from Quitman to Tulsa, Oklahoma. McDaniels is charged with murdering her daughters, Gabriella Guerrero, 3, and Natalye Price, 1. According to the autopsy, the girls died from blunt force trauma to the head. Two men have also been charged in the case.
