Police Seek Help Catching Identity Thief

ATHENS — The Athens Police Department is asking for the public’s help naming a man who has stolen multiple identities in East Texas. According to KETK, the man pictured is believed to have stolen the identities of four Athenians and used their bank accounts to pass counterfeit checks in Athens, Tyler, and Terrell. He is also allegedly using victim information to counterfeit Texas driver licenses. The Athens Police Department needs your assistance to identify and locate the individual involved with these offenses.
