Young Child Dies after Being Found in Pool

DALLAS — A young child who was found in a swimming pool in Henderson County Sunday afternoon has died in a Dallas hospital. Family members say Beau House, 3, passed away shortly before 10:00 Wednesday morning, according to a Facebook page supporting Beau. Beau was flown to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas Sunday. According to KETK, the sheriff’s office reports that around 3:30 Sunday afternoon, 911 dispatchers received a call for help from a woman in reference to a child found in an underground swimming pool. Deputies responded to the scene on LBJ Ranch Road at the Key Ranch Estates near the city of Trinidad. When deputies made it there, emergency crews were already providing medical attention to the boy. The child was rushed to an Athens hospital and flown to Children’s. Authorities said it did not appear the child had been in the pool for a long period of time, and no foul play is suspected. Investigators later determined the boy had wandered out of his home and into the pool.
