Signal Work at Hawkins and McCann Intersection

LONGVIEW — The intersection of Hawkins Parkway at McCann Road in Longview undergoing signal work today. The purpose of the work is the change the signals for the new intersections improvements, according to a city news release. Drivers wishing to travel through this intersection may consider using alternate routes. A traffic policeman will direct traffic during the signal outage. The work is expected to last all day. This project was approved by voters as part of the Capital Improvements Bond Election in May 2011. The project is being constructed by East Texas Bridge of Longview.
