“Loan Ranger Bandit” Pleads Guilty to 13 Counts of Bank Robbery

loanrangerWACO — The “Loan Ranger Bandit” pleaded guilty to 13 counts of bank robbery in a Waco federal courtroom on Friday. KETK reports Richard Wayne Swicegood of Waxahachie entered a guilty plea in the West District Court of Texas Waco Division. He was arrested July 1, 2014, by Arkansas State Troopers after robbing a bank in Benton, Arkansas. The guilty plea covered robberies in two states with the majority in Texas and two in Tyler.

June 30, 2011 – Summit Bank – Benton, Arkansas
July 21, 2011 – Citibank – Wichita Falls, Texas
August 31, 2011 – Altra Federal Credit Union – Tyler, Texas
October 4, 2011 – Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union – Temple, Texas
January 4, 2012 – Union State Bank – Round Rock, Texas
March 30, 2012 – Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union – Temple, Texas
May 17, 2012 – BBVA Compass Bank – Tyler, Texas
July 9, 2012 – First State Bank – Salado, Texas
July 12, 2013 – Temple Santa Fe Coummunity Credit Union – Temple, Texas
November 8, 2013 – Extraco Bank – Lampasas, Texas
March 6, 2014 – Select Federal Credit Union – San Antonio, Texas
June 5, 2014 – Union State Bank – Round Rock, Texas
July 1, 2014 – Summit Bank – Benton, Arkansas

Sentencing is scheduled for March 1 at 1:00 p.m.
