Body Found following Structure Fire in Rusk County

HENDERSON — The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a body was found following a house fire on County Road 291 in the northern portion of the county. KETK reports that Rusk County emergency crews were dispatched to the blaze early Friday. The cause of death was not immediately known, and a name was not immediately released by officials. The deceased has been taken to Southeastern Institute of Forensic Science in Tyler for examination.
