Upshur County Man Charged with Murder

GILMER – A Big Sandy man remains in the Upshur County Jail, charged with murder. Being held on a $1 million bond is Jonathan Lynn Sullivan, 26. He’s charged with the weekend shooting death of Joseph Nilsson, 41. The shooting followed a confrontation the men had in the front yard of Nilsson’s mother’s home on Farm Road 852. No word on what the argument was about. The investigation is on-going.
