Longview Man Arrested on Sexual Assault Charge

LONGVIEW – Following his indictment by a grand jury, a Gregg County man has been arrested on a charge of sexual assault of a child. The Longview News-Journal reports Denys Velasquez, 20, was booked into the Gregg County Jail. His bond was set at $35,000. According to the indictment, Velasquez is accused of having sexual contact with a child younger than 17.
