Fire Destroys Tyler House

TYLER – A Tyler home has been destroyed by fire. The fire in the rental house on South Fleishel Avenue and Skyline Street was reported around 6:00 Tuesday night. The mother and her two children were not home when the fire started. Investigators located the source of the fire in the kitchen area and determined that it started as a result of unattended cooking. The home suffered significant fire, smoke and heat damage throughout. There were no injuries reported.
