Authorities Seek Oil Field Thieves

KILGORE — Kilgore police are asking for the public’s help with catching a group of oil field thieves. According to KETK, surveillance video showed four men stealing company trucks from oil yards. The men are shown breaking into a gate and getting through a secured area. Once they get inside, they find keys to the company trucks and take off. The vehicles were later found by Rusk County and Gregg County sheriff’s deputies; some of those trucks are destroyed. If you have leads, you’re asked to call Gregg County Crimestoppers.
