Garrett Plumlee is recovering at his grandmother’s house in Tyler, according to his father, Gregg County Precinct 1 Constable James Plumlee. KETK reports Garrett took a hit in the third quarter of his final football game and suffered a concussion. Once he was rushed to the hospital, doctors discovered the senior quarterback had experienced a brain hemorrhage. He was then flown to a Plano hospital. Plumlee eventually woke up and became coherent the following Sunday; his brain bleed had stopped. The student was later moved out of ICU and into a primary care unit in Plano before heading to Tyler.
