Two Hurt in Major Smith County Wreck

FLINT Emergency crews responded to the scene of major crash at the intersection of Highway 69 and Farm Road 346 in southern Smith County. Authorities tell KETK a truck ran the light and collided with a van. Law officers said they were first alerted to the accident at 12:23 Monday afternoon. The van was headed east through the intersection when the truck struck its side, according to authorities. The driver of the van and truck were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. They have been identified as a woman and a man. Their names were not immediately released.
