Mother Frances Bariatric Surgery Program Recognized

TYLER – The bariatric surgery program at Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler recently received the Blue Cross Blue Shield “Blue Distinction Plus +” designation. This is the highest level of distinction awarded by BCBS, according to a Mother Frances news release. “Being awarded this distinction not only means that we meet the quality standards that Blue Cross Blue Shield sets, it means that we work hard to go above and beyond them,” said Betsy Carson, RN, CBN, Bariatric Surgery Coordinator at Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics. “It is incredibly important to us to provide the highest levels of quality care to our community and ensure they are getting the very best care available.”
