Man Gets Life for Child Sex Assault

HENDERSON — A Rusk County man has been sentenced to life in prison for the aggravated sexual assault of a child. KETK reports Richard Wisdom, 43, was found guilty after 20 minutes of deliberation by a jury. He was then given the life sentence by the 4th District Court judge. Wisdom will be eligible for parole after 37 years behind bars, according to District Attorney Micheal E. Jimerson. Assistant District Attorney Kate Hegar and District Attorney Michael E. Jimerson prosecuted the case.
