Authorities Seeking Tips on Illegal Dumping

SMITH COUNTY — Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help identifying the person or people responsible for illegally dumping a large amount of tires in Smith County. According to KETK, Precinct 4 Constable John Smith said his office is offering $250 for any information leading to the arrest and indictments of those responsible. The tires and other items were found across from Jackson Water Supply Well Number 5, located at 6450 FM 2908 near Tyler.
