Deadline For Submitting Longview Parks Survey

LONGVIEW — Today’s the deadline for Longview residents to share their thoughts and ideas about the future of parks in the city. As part of the Longview Comprehensive Plan, the city is updating the 5-year Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. Residents can give their input by completing a survey. According to Director of Community Services Laura Hill, “This Master Plan is very important to our staff members, park board members, and city council because it informs us of citizens’ priorities. For instance, over the last several years, we have seen a major improvement to our walking trails, which was a direct result of residents telling us those were a top priority.” You can go to
