Roadwork Begins on South Fleishel

TYLER — Roadwork on South Fleishel Avenue from Dawson to Fifth Street in Tyler will continue for an estimated ten days beginning yesterday. The existing asphalt surface is to be removed and replaced with new asphalt. To minimize inconvenience to the public, all work will be done at night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., according to a news release. During this time, the road will be closed to through traffic. Officials say all work is expected to be complete before July 24, weather permitting.
