Major Renovations on the Way at East Texas Regional Airport

LONGVIEW — Gregg County’s East Texas Regional Airport will be on the receiving end of almost $30 million in renovations. KETK reports county commissioners gave approval for the facelift Monday. Most renovations will be funded by grants from the FAA. The renovations will include upgrades to taxiway lighting, airfield drainage improvements, and the design and overlay of a runway. Renovations should be complete within five years.
