Parking for Lindsey Park Fireworks

TYLER — Tyler officials are getting the word out early about the free Lindsey Park Fireworks Show this Saturday at 9:00pm. A city news release advises, “Grab your friends or family and make sure you carpool to ease traffic congestion.” Lindsey Park is located at 12557 Spur 364 West. Attendees are asked to arrive early, and if you arrive before 3:00pm, you’re asked to park in the two main parking lots by the soccer fields. The park will open at 6:00am, as on any other day, and food vendor Ted Kamel will be there for concessions. The primary sponsor of the event is Texas Senator Kevin Eltife. All residents should remember that alcohol and private fireworks are prohibited in city parks.
