ETCF Celebrates 25 Years

TYLER — East Texas Communities Foundation Tuesday celebrates 25 years of service to East Texas charities and philanthropists. In that time, ETCF has distributed over $50 million in grants to local charities, according to a news release. ETCF began operations July 1, 1989, as the East Texas Area Foundation. It took on its current name in 1992. ETCF’s mission is to support philanthropy by offering simple ways for donors to achieve their long-term charitable goals, according to the release.
