Winona Rescinds Boil Water Notice

WINONA — The city of Winona has canceled the boil water notice issued on Monday. According to City Administrator Bryan Richards, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has given permission to lift the notice and stated the water is safe. According to KETK, city officials first issued the notice after the chlorine pump at Well #5 failed and was replaced.
