Military Veteran Killed in Longview Crash

LONGVIEW — A LeTourneau University student was killed Friday night after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Longview. According to the Longview News-Journal, Logan Anthony Houshmand, 26, was pronounced dead Friday night at Longview Regional Medical Center. Thomas Daniel White, 38, of Jefferson was driving a 1977 Chevrolet Nova and veered into Houshmand’s lane on Delwood Drive, hitting his motorcycle, police said. White was uninjured. Houshmand, a military veteran who was enrolled in a summer class to finish his degree in aircraft systems, participated in graduation exercises this past month.
