Ellis Defeats Patterson in Smith County’s GOP Primary

Jason EllisTYLER – Smith County voters in the GOP primary runoff have elected Jason Ellis as judge of the County Court at Law. Since he has no Democratic opponent in November, he will be succeeding Thomas Dunn in January. In complete, but unofficial returns Ellis polled 6, 337 votes to Mike Patterson’s 3.821 votes.
