Longview Cemetery Vandalized

LONGVIEW – Longview police investigate vandalism at a local cemetery, On May 27 at 3:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a criminal mischief case at Greenwood Cemetery, at 705 Magrill. When officers arrived they discovered that approximately 88 headstones had been vandalized. Some of the headstones had been moved, knocked over, and broken. Police say the motive for the crime is unknown and at this time there is not a known suspect. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Longview Police Department at 903-237-1199.
