Suspected Car Burglars Arrested after High-Speed Chase

LONGVIEW — Authorities chase two suspected car burglars from Longview to Shreveport overnight. According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Longview Police were tailing the suspects early Thursday morning when the men took off on Interstate 20 traveling east. According to KETK, officers followed them and a high speed chase ensued with speeds reaching up to 100 mph. Eventually Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Shreveport Police joined in on the pursuit. The chase ended when the two suspects jumped out of the car in a Shreveport neighborhood. Both men were taken into custody. Officers were able to recover several stolen items from the car.
