Man Arrested in Tyler Shooting

TYLER – A woman has been injured in a Tyler shooting. It happened around 3:45 yesterday afternoon during a family disturbance at 1004 West Trezevant. Arrested was Terral Deshon Carter. 23. Investigators say Carter apparently pulled out a small handgun and began shooting rounds at the floor. One of the rounds ricocheted and struck a woman’s right knee. She sustained non-life threatening injuries. At the same time, a small child was standing near where the bullets were hitting the floor. The youngster was not hit. Carter is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and placing a child in imminent danger.
