Harrison County Authorities Searching for Autistic Teen

WASKOM — The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Chance Coleson, 17. According to KETK, he is diagnosed as mildly autistic and wandered from his home in Waskom. Coleson is described by his mother as 5’8”, 170 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. His mother stated he had wandered previously and was located in Greenwood, Louisiana.
The family is in this area while on a work assignment and staying in an RV park on I-20 in Waskom. The family home is in Vinton, Louisiana, but the mother does not believe Chance would know how to return to Vinton. He was last seen wearing a black and white t-shirt, brown shorts, and flip-flop shoes. Anyone with information regarding Chance’s location is asked to contact investigators with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office at 903-923-4000.
