Marshall Fire Death Reported

MARSHALL – One person has died in a weekend fire in Marshall. It was reported Sunday afternoon in the in the 2300 block of Sledge Street. The Longview News-Journal reports Harrison County Justice of the Peace Nancy George said officials believe the victim is Richard Esley Weekly, 47. Firefighters began looking for the victim when neighbors said they didn’t think anyone had gotten out. His body was found in the charred ruble of the home. No word on what caused the fire.
