Wiley Gets Life in Prison

TYLER — A Tyler jury Friday afternoon sentenced Christoper Wiley to life in prison. Late Thursday afternoon, the jury convicted Wiley, 39, of murder. According to KETK, he was accused of fatally shooting Rodney Walker, 52. It happened at Wiley’s Azalea District rental home along East First Street last July. Officers say after Wiley killed Walker, he tried to commit suicide. Police arrested him shortly after he was taken to a Tyler hospital.
