Medical Board Ordered Revocation of Doctor’s Medical License

NACOGDOCHES — The Texas Medical Board has ordered the revocation of the license belonging to an East Texas doctor, effective immediately. According to KETK, Dr. David Anthony Mosig, a contracted emergency room doctor at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, had a formal complaint filed against him September 12, 2013, based off a felony conviction. Mosig was ordered by a federal judge to pay back $375,580 to the government and serve two years probation after he was convicted of making a false statement on his income tax return. He claimed $0 in total income in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Mosig has 20 days to request a rehearing.
