Azalea District Murder Trial Continues

TYLER — The trial for a Tyler man accused of killing another Tyler resident continues after getting underway Tuesday. According to KETK, police say Christopher Wiley, 39, shot and killed Rodney Walker, 52. It happened at Wiley’s Azalea District rental home along East First Street last July. Officers say after Wiley killed Walker, he tried to commit suicide. Police arrested him shortly after he was taken to a local hospital.
