Missouri Man Jailed in East Texas for Sexual Assault

SMITH COUNTY — A Missouri man is arrested on charges of aggravated child sexual assault. According to KETK, the Smith County Sheriff’s Office said, Bruce Alderman, 51, of Knox City, Missouri, was arrested Sunday after an investigation by the Whitehouse Police Department. Alderman has been accused of sexually assaulting a four-year-old child before fleeing to Missouri. He is being held in the Smith County Jail on $75,000 bond.
