thumb_sheriff-ruskcountyHENDERSON — Authorities say four people have been arrested in Rusk County for alleged drug trafficking. According to KETK, two of the accused were busted last November on similar charges. The recent arrests were part of a multi-agency arrest warrant sweep conducted March 6th. Terry Nathan Tidwell, Ysidro Yanez, Christopher White, and Angela Denison were arrested on accusations of conspiracy/possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Also arrested, on a state charge of abandoning/endangering a child, was Jessica Page. Yanez and Tidwell were arraigned November 7 on charges of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Authorities say the federal charges are a result of federal grand jury indictments in connection with a 15-month investigation into the organized distribution of methamphetamine in Rusk County. The four individuals arrested on federal warrants were taken to Tyler and released into the custody of the federal marshals, while Jessica Page was confined to the Rusk County Jail and held on $7,500 bond. Tidwell, 33, of Henderson, and Yanez, 55, of Overton, are being held in the Gregg County jail on a U.S. Marshal detainer. No bond is set..
