Teen Killed in Rollover

MINEOLA — A Mineola teenager has been killed in a one-vehicle rollover. According to the Mineola Police Department, at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon, Department of Public Safety troopers were dispatched to an accident in the 1000 block of East Broad Street. KETK reports that when authorities arrived at the scene, they found an SUV resting on its side. Troopers discovered a person was lying in the road near the vehicle. He was identified at Corey Jackson, 18. Jackson was flown to ETMC in Tyler, but he did not survive his injuries from the crash. Officials did not release a suspected cause of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
