East Texas Woman Dies in La. Crash

VIVIAN, LA. (AP) — Caddo Parish sheriff’s deputies say an East Texas woman has died in a single vehicle accident on Highway 2 near Vivian, Louisiana. Sheriff Steve Prator says Jessica Rene Lingo, 29, of Jefferson died at the scene Tuesday morning when she was ejected from a pickup. Another occupant, Phillip Ray Lilley, 30, also of Jefferson, is being treated for injuries at University Hospital in Shreveport. Prator says authorities believe Lilley was driving. He says the pickup ran off the road on a curve.
