Tyler Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Child

TYLER — A Smith County man has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. Victor Michael Austin, 39, of Tyler. He has been booked into the Smith County Jail under a $1 million bond. His arrest followed an interview with a child who told authorities they had been repeatedly sexually abused by Austin.
