Possible Kidnapping in Longview

LONGVIEW — Longview Police have received a report of a child abduction in the area of Mobberly Avenue and Oakdale Street. According to KETK, the person who made the report stated she saw a white van pull up to an unknown Hispanic female Friday. A subject described as wearing all black is said to have grabbed the girl, placed his hand over her mouth, and dragged her into the van. The van then sped away quickly, according to the statement.
At last report, Longview Police had not received any calls of a missing child. They say they would like to thank everyone for getting the word out so quickly after they received the initial report and put out the alert. This does not mean the alert is canceled. It only means that police have not yet received any missing child reports. Parents are asked to account for their children and make a report immediately if they are unable to locate their child.
