Henderson County Inmate Escapes

ATHENS — Henderson County authorities are asking the public’s help on locating an escaped jail inmate. Marcus Tyrone Grayson, 28, escaped from a work detail at the Henderson County Fairgrounds around 8:00 Sunday night. He was last seen wearing a tan inmate uniform and a tan jacket. Grayson had been in jail on a charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
