Rusk County Officials: Man Died of Gunshot Wound, Reward Offered

TURNERTOWN — Rusk County officials say according to the autopsy report, Alfonzia Garland, who was found dead in a truck near Turnertown, was killed by a gunshot wound. KETK reports the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident as a homicide and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information regarding the case. Garland, 64, of Henderson, was pronounced dead at the scene on County Road 4107 near Highway 64.
