Boil Water Notice Canceled for the Winona Area

WINONA — A boil water notice has been canceled for a portion of Smith County. It was for customers of Star Mountain Water Supply in Winona and Starville. It was issued when a water main broke in the area on Friday. The break was repaired, and water company officials notified KTBB around midday Monday that customers no longer need to boil their water.
