Major Structure Fire in Jacksonville

JACKSONILLE — A massive blaze has destroyed a storage building belonging to East Texas Medical Center in Jacksonville. It was reported around 9:00 Saturday night off of U.S. Highway 69 near Bolton street. That building is said to be located right behind the Trinity Assisted Living Home. The Chief with the Jacksonville Fire Department told KETK crews on scene the fire had it under control. No injuries have been reported. They did however put the Trinity Assisted Living Home on standby in case of an emergency evacuation, but everything is said to be back to normal. Trinity Assisted Living told KETK that the fire was at their backdoor and they had to bring all their residents to the front of the building. There was no damage to the home and no injuries to report. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
