Police Searching for Suspect in Attempted Robbery

TYLER — Tyler Police are searching for the suspect wanted in an attempted robbery Wednesday morning. It happened around 2:35 at the CVS Pharmacy, 4922 South Broadway Avenue. Officers reviewed the store’s security video, which showed what appeared to be an older model mini-van backing-up to the store’s front doors. The suspect exits the vehicle, forcibly opens the doors and attempts to remove the ATM. Following several failed attempts to remove the ATM from the store, the suspect then fled the area in the mini-van. The suspect appears to be wearing dark colored pants, a dark colored over-shirt, a white undershirt, white shoes and a white cloth covering his face.
